To create a space where you don’t need to be flexible, fit, or “spiritual enough” to show up.

Just human.

This is a judgment-free zone where every body—aching, healing, tight, tired, strong—is welcome.

My mission? To help you tap into the power of movement and breath so you can feel better, move freer, and take back control of your body.

Yoga isn’t just for the bendy—it’s for the bold.

How it All Started…

It hit hard—one day, my back gave out, and everything changed.

The pain? Brutal.

I’m talking slipped disc, trapped nerve, ruptured groin, and full-on drop foot.

The entire right side of my body went numb like someone had just unplugged me from life.

The doctors rushed in with their fix: immediate surgery. But even they couldn’t promise it would work.

And yes, I was scared. Petrified.

Surgery felt like jumping off a cliff without knowing if there was a net.

I wasn’t ready to hand over my body—and my future—without a fight.

So I chose a different way.

I got quiet. I breathed. I moved, inch by inch.

No flashy poses. No pressure.

Just breath-led, soul-driven, painfully slow yoga—and a fierce belief that I could rebuild myself from the inside out.

A New Beginning...

In less than a year, I went from barely walking to standing strong—in every sense of the word.

I didn’t just get my body back; I found my fire.

Yoga didn’t just heal me—it gave me purpose.

I trained hard, earned my YTT200, and became a certified RYT200 yoga teacher.

No shortcuts.

Just grit, breath, and showing up—even when it sucked and I wobbled on my numb leg. lol

Oh, and I wasn’t alone.

My two relentless, stretch-obsessed sidekicks (my fur monsters, Seraphina and Anubis), were on the mat with me every damn day.

Sometimes beside me, sometimes on top of me.

Their constant presence (and zero respect for personal space) inspired the name of this studio.

Seranu Yoga Studio.
